Water is a vital necessity for human development, the environment and the economy. Because of its global importance, the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the Robert B. Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute (DWFI), and the Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum have partnered to foster cooperation between students and scientists from both the countries.
The Water Advanced Research and Innovation (WARI) Fellowship Program is a dynamic and transformative program for students and early-career faculty pursuing advanced academic research and/or other water-related careers.
The program will award a) students and b) faculty at colleges and institutions in the United States with scholarships to India in 2024-25, where they will conduct collaborative research at top-tier Indian institutions.
