The Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) is an autonomous, bilateral organization established in 2000 by the Governments of India and the United States of America. IUSSTF’s mission is to promote long-term scientific collaborations between India and the U.S. through partnerships amongst individual scientists, scientific institutions, and the scientific community at large. IUSSTF has an extensive program portfolio that includes Scientific Networks, Research and Development, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Capacity Building
IUSSTF is looking for motivated, self-driven individuals who are passionate about science and interested in contributing to the organisation’s scientific mission and vision. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to multitask, work individually and as part of a team. Responsibilities may include day to day management of scientific programs, developing reports, maintaining database, and reviewing projects technical and financial documents.
IUSSTF invites applications for appointment on a Fixed-Term Contract basis for the following position:

| Remuneration*: |
70,000 – 1,00,000 (monthly consolidated) depending on qualifications and experience |
| Academic Qualification: |
Ph.D. or Master’s in Science or Technology in a STEM discipline from a recognized university in India |
| Desirable Qualification: |
Certificate / Diploma in Project Management |
| Experience: |
Minimum 3-5 years (post PhD.) or 5-7 years (post Masters) experience in Science, Technology, Innovation (ST&I) |
| Age Criteria: |
Not to exceed 40 years (as of 25th July 2024) |
| Required Competencies: |
- Excellent science communication skills (as evidenced by publications, reports, articles, etc.)
- Excellent Analytical Skills
- Experience in evaluating Techno-commercial projects
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Data Analysis Tools

| Desirable Competencies: |
- Experience in Science, Technology, and Innovation Funding or Grants Management/ Industry R&D
- Familiarity with the Indian and U.S. ST&I ecosystem
- Knowledge of working in Emerging & Critical Technology (including but not limited to AI, ML, Quantum etc), Energy, and Climate.
